disneyrewards

The Disney® Premier Visa® Card rewards program pays Disney Reward Dollars on every purchase. You earn 2% in Disney Reward Dollars when you use the card to make purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants and most Disney locations. Redeeming Disney Rewards Dollars

Once you’ve accumulated some Disney Reward Dollars, it’s time to put them to work and you’ve got a few different options for doing so. For example, you can redeem rewards toward most anything Disney and Star Wars at most Disney locations, for example for tickets to a participating Disney theme park, a stay at a Disney resort or dinner out at a Disney restaurant. If you’re flying to a Disney property, you can use your rewards to cover the cost as a statement credit after booking your flight. You may also redeem Rewards Dollars for a statement credit toward airline travel – purchase airline tickets with your Disney® Premier Visa® Card from Chase on any airline to any destination and then redeem for a statement credit. prosandconsDisney® Premier Visa® Card pros

The Disney® Premier Visa® Card has a decent rewards structure for gas-and-grocery store spending consumers looking for a card specifically for Disney purchases.

Some of the nicest features of the card, though, when you use this credit card to purchase, are its perks designed exclusively for Disney lovers, like savings on select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at select locations at the Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts and aboard Disney Cruise Line ships; savings on select dining locations most days at Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts; discount of the non-discounted price of select guided tours at Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts locations. Character experience Disney Visa Cardmember-exclusive photo opportunities held at private Cardmember locations at the Disneyland® and Walt Disney World® Resorts with Disney or Star Wars Characters. Restrictions and limitations may apply.

Disney® Premier Visa® Card cons

While the Disney® Premier Visa® Card can save you on Disney purchases, it’s not a good fit if you’re looking for more of an all-around rewards card.

The $49 annual cost isn’t a killer for the Disney® Premier Visa® Card but there are other cards that pay a comparable rewards rate without charging a yearly fee.

Should you get the Disney® Premier Visa® Card?

We’d recommend the Disney® Premier Visa® Card if you do a lot of spending at Disney each year, you’re able to pay your balance in full each month, or you want six months to pay off a qualifying Disney vacation package or property purchase. If you want something that features a higher rewards rate, however, or doesn’t have an annual fee, we suggest taking a look at the other cards profiled in this article.

Before applying for the Disney® Premier Visa® Card or any rewards credit card, be sure to scope out your Credit Sesame free credit report summary to get an idea of whether you’ll qualify. Just remember having a credit score in a particular range doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be approved for a credit card, or if you’re approved, what the terms that may be extended to you will be. Note, each credit card company uses many variables in the decision making process to extend credit, as well as using a variety of credit card scoring models.

And last, we recommend that you look at other rewards cards to see your options, and to find a card that is a fit for your needs.

To make a more informed choice you can find additional information about the cards profiled in this article by visiting each of the credit card issuers websites.
