Purpose of the interview – The purpose of this interview is to understand how people use and enjoy Credit Sesame. Your participation in this interview will help us improve our product.
Your participation in this interview is voluntary – You can take a break at any time. You may request to end the interview at any time.
Information we will collect – You will be asked various questions about the product, how you use it, and your overall satisfaction. We will record the interview and we will take notes to record your comments and feedback.
How we use your data – Interview recordings may be shared outside our company. We may publish research reports that include your comments and actions by name. We may also publish portions of the interview for marketing purposes with your name and likeness.
YOU CONSENT TO THE FOLLOWING BY PARTICIPATING IN AN INTERVIEW:
- To provide us with your honest feedback
- For the session to be recorded
- For the session to be used for research and marketing purposes
You acknowledge and agree that Credit Sesame may record audio, photograph, film, videotape, or otherwise record the interview. You hereby grant to Credit Sesame and its affiliates the right in perpetuity and worldwide, with no further compensation to you, to use your photograph, video, audio recording, image, voice, name, biographical data, or any other personal characteristic or physical or vocal likeness, for product development, marketing, and research purposes. You shall have no right of approval and YOU WAIVE ANY CLAIM INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, CLAIMS BASED ON INVASION OF PRIVACY, DEFAMATION, AND RIGHT OF PUBLICITY ARISING OUT OF ANY USE, BLURRING, ALTERATION, DISTORTION, ILLUSIONARY EFFECT, OR ANY USE IN COMPOSITE FOR USE OF YOUR NAME, PICTURE, LIKENESS, VOICE, OR BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION FOR THE PERMITTED PURPOSES.
You acknowledge and agree that you may receive confidential or proprietary information regarding Credit Sesame products and services and other ideas that may not have been disclosed to the public (collectively, the “Confidential Information”). You agree to maintain the confidentiality of all Confidential Information disclosed to you in connection with the interview and shall hold Confidential Information in strict confidence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby waive all legal and equitable rights relating to all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, and expenses, including but not limited to claims for copyright or trademark infringement, invasion of any rights of privacy, violation of rights of publicity, or any similar claim or cause of action in tort,contract, or any other legal theory, now known or hereafter known, arising directly or indirectly from Credit Sesame’s exercise of its rights and the use of the interview.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Credit Sesame from and against all claims by third parties resulting from your participation in the interview and any breach of these terms. All matters arising out of this interview shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the State of California and any claim or cause of action arising hereunder must be brought only in the federal and state courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
